How to get an eSIM
Lyca Mobile (Prepay)
Supports eSIM on prepay. You can obtain the eSIM instantly online.
eir (Prepay)
Supports eSIM on prepay. For new accounts, eSIM must be obtained in the eir shop.
Vodafone (Prepay)
Supports eSIM on prepay. You can convert a physical SIM to eSIM online. You can also get a prepay eSIM online if you port your number to Vodafone. A brand-new number eSIM is not available online.
Three (Prepay)
Supports eSIM on prepay.
GoMo (Rolling monthly)
eSIM is supported on GoMo monthly bill pay contracts and can be obtained online.
Clear Mobile
Does not currently offer eSIM. Clear Mobile says eSIM will be coming in early 2026.
Notes
Sky Mobile supports eSIM, but has a minimum 12-month contract, so it is not listed as an option on this site focused on prepay and monthly contracts.
Virgin Media, Tesco Mobile, An Post Mobile, and 48 do not support eSIM at this time.
